Abstract

In the present study, an attempt has been made to explore physicochemical requirements of 3, 5-disubstituted 4, 5-dihydroisoxazole analogs against Mycobacterium tuberculosis. The amalgamated best fit consensus scoring function showed coefficient of determination (0.865), leave one out cross validated squared correlation coefficient (0.802) and external predictivity value (0.669). QSAR models revealed that constitutional, radial distribution function and GETAWAY descriptors have significant impact on the antimycobacterial activity of the studied compounds.
